Mishkan Shalom is blessed to draw from a broad geographic area with a synagogue building with multiple tenants in Manayunk-Roxborough area in NW Philadelphia, as well as a thriving community of online participants around the world. We invite you to contact Rosalind Spigel, Membership Representative with any questions and/or to arrange for a tour of the synagogue and to meet with Rabbi Shawn Zevit. We want to make sure you have every opportunity to get to know us, and for us to get to know you, as you consider membership in Mishkan Shalom.

Consistent with our values we ask that each household study and understand our Statement of Principles, agree to support our Brit HaMishkan, then make an informed decision of which Membership Commitment Level best reflects your ability to support our community through annual fully self-assessed financial commitment.

To meet the needs to all who wish to deepen their connection and commitment to Mishkan Shalom in the covenant of membership, we have membership options for "full membership" and "online friends" for digital connection from outside Philadelphia. In all cases, please contact our membership team as detailed at the top of this page, prior to filling in the membership application, as in support of our covenant of community, we meet with prospective "full members" before considering any applications.
