Guidelines for Gathering

CONGREGATION MISHKAN SHALOM:

GUIDELINES FOR GATHERING IN PERSON

Effective Since 12/1/2021, Updated 4/6/2022,  Updated 3/9/2023

We continue to gather both online, in person and in hybrid format. Mishkan's Hashiveynu Committee continues to meet and update our covenant for in-person and online programming for the sake of maximal inclusion and everyone's safety. All congregants and guests must agree to this covenant to ensure the health and safety of all.

Registration and attendance for any in-person gathering requires agreeing to the following Covenant for a Safe and Healthy Return:

  • Full vaccination is required to attend in-person gatherings for everyone eligible to be vaccinated.
  • Masks must be worn when gathering in person for Mishkan Shalom services and programs. Masks may be removed by the program or service leader or if mutually comfortable distance is maintained.
  • Pre-registration/RSVP of all attendees is required for contact tracing purposes
  • Anyone entering the building will wear a mask
  • Unvaccinated people should participate in Mishkan gatherings via Zoom.
  • Anyone hosting an official Mishkan program or gathering at their home or other location needs to specify in the event information whether the event is indoors or out, whether mask-wearing will be required, whether unvaccinated people may attend, and how safety for all will be maintained
  • Anyone renting the building for private events is encouraged to follow Mishkan Shalom COVID policies. The renter needs to specify in the event information what policies will be followed and how safety will be maintained
  • If you should test positive for COVID-19 after visiting our building or a Mishkan event, please contact our office manager, Maria, maria@mishkan.org  or 215-508-0226 as soon as possible.

The Hashiveynu Group continues to monitor COVID-19 guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Philadelphia Department of Health and may further restrict in-person activities should pandemic conditions change.
